Payment Terms

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking. Full payment is due prior to arrival and will be charged to the card on file unless otherwise arranged. All major credit cards are accepted. Completing a reservation authorizes The Parker House to charge your card for rental amount, applicable taxes, and any incidentals or damages.

Refund Policy

Refunds are not issued for inclement weather, fishing conditions, power outages, or temporary appliance/utility disruptions. Should any issue arise during your stay, please text 989-464-3064 and staff will work promptly to resolve it.

Thank You and Guest Policies

The Parker House expresses gratitude for hosting guests at Long Lake, emphasizing the special nature of the place. Policies are designed to ensure an enjoyable stay and to care for the land to preserve the guest experience. Guests are encouraged to reach out if they need assistance to make their stay more comfortable.

Security and Property Responsibility

While no security deposit is required, The Parker House reserves the right to charge your card for any damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning needed after your stay. By submitting payment, you agree to take responsibility for the condition of the unit, its contents and any outdoor space used. The cardholder on file will be held liable for any damages incurred by your party.

Guest Occupancy

Each rental unit accommodates a maximum of four (4) guests, except The Sportsman and Cloud 9 which accommodate up to six (6). Exceeding these limits without prior approval may result in additional charges or termination of stay without refund. Rentals are exclusively to responsible adults aged 18 or older.

Quiet Hours

Guests are asked to observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM to preserve the peaceful lakeside environment. This ensures a serene experience for all guests whether enjoying a sunset by the fire or an early morning on the dock.

Boats, Kayaks, Water Equipment and Use of Outdoor Spaces

Guests are welcome to bring personal watercraft such as kayaks, paddle boards, or small boats. Dock space may be available upon request and must be reserved in advance. The Parker House also offers a limited number of kayaks for guest use, subject to availability and weather conditions. All guests using kayaks must sign a waiver located in the shed with the paddles before use. The Parker House or its affiliated businesses are not liable for any incidents during use. For more information, guests can inquire by texting 989-464-3064. The lakeside setting includes shared amenities such as outdoor grills, picnic areas, fire pits, and lake access. Guests are invited to use these responsibly and with consideration for others. Firewood may be provided but is not guaranteed; guests may bring their own. Fires should never be left unattended, and guests must clean up after using shared spaces. Garbage bins are located under the Pavilion for waste disposal to help keep the grounds clean.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy

For stays of fewer than 7 nights, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled arrival; otherwise, the full rental amount will be charged. For stays of 7 nights or more, cancellations must be made 30 days in advance; otherwise, the full rental amount will be charged. All rentals are subject to 6% Michigan sales/use tax.

Children and Safety

Children must be supervised at all times, especially near the lake, dock, and fire pit for safety reasons. The Parker House encourages families to help maintain a secure and peaceful environment by watching over little ones and promoting respectful use of shared spaces.
